Pamela Spackman (Burbank)

Pamela Spackman (Burbank)

You have the info that Pam Spackman passed away, but no obit. I'm going to try to attach it to this note. Pamela S. Burbank left this earthly life Feb. 24, 2018, after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Pam was born March 21, 1948, to LaMar and Janice Spackman of Richmond, Utah. She went to Sky View High School, where she graduated. She met the love of her life and was married Oct. 14, 1966, in Richmond, Utah. Rex and Pam lived in Preston, Idaho, for one year before moving to Bear Lake, where they called home for 52 years. They were blessed with three boys who kept her on her toes. Her children loved her and loved to give her a hard time. Pam was very talented and loved to help others. Pam inherited her father's love of flowers and the ability to make them grow. Her yard was always beautiful and the envy of others. She spent hours helping beatify the flower beds at the Paris Tabernacle for all to enjoy. Pam was a great cook and loved to plan parties. She was famous for her Fourth of July picnics that family and friends got to enjoy over the years. Pam found true happiness in her grandchildren. She had the ability to make them feel like they were the most important person in the world. They all enjoyed sitting at the table and visiting with her for hours. She loved to watch them play sports, rodeo or anything that they were interested in. She has always been their biggest fan. Pam is survived by her dear husband Rex, of Paris, Idaho; her children Travis (Becky) of Paris, Idaho, Jason (Amber) of Lanark, Idaho, and Cameron (Monica) of Smithfield, Utah; 10 grandchildren, Brendon, Tyler, Shelbi, Jaydon, Hunter, Maycie, Hayden, Bryten, Diana and Easton; and one great-grandchild, Bexley Ann; three brothers, Phillip (Kristie), Terry (Debbie), and Dallas (Tonja), all of Richmond, Utah; and many nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her parents, LaMar and Janice Spackman, and her sister and brother-in-law, Verl and LaGene Halverson. A viewing will be held from 10 to 11:45 a.m. Feb. 28, 2018, at the Paris Stake Center. Funeral services will follow at noon. The burial will be in the Paris Cemetery.
