Norman Sims Anderson(1948-2009)

Norman Sims Anderson passed away Feb. 26, 2009, from a terminal illness. 
He was born Feb. 4, 1948, to Keller and Grace Anderson; he married Linda Funk Feb. 14, 1968. He graduated from Sky View High School in 1986 and served in the Army Reserve for six years. 
He started his construction career at Flamers Mill and Cabinet Shop where he worked himself up to supervisor in the warehouse. He worked for Fullmers for seven years. While he was at Fullmers he joined forces with Randall Funk Construction and worked with them for two years. He then went out on his own with Anderson Roberts Construction and continued this for eight years. 
In 1986 he and Linda moved to Garden City where he continued his construction career until his passing. 
He is survived by his wife, Linda; two Rottweilers, Keisha and Bosco; his brother, LaVon Anderson of Logan, Utah; sister, Ruth Culbertson, of Santa Barbara Calif.; brother, Ralph Anderson of Park City Utah; and sister, Barbara Anderson of Nibley, Utah. He will be loved and missed by everyone who knew him. 
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 at the Garden City Chapel at 2 p.m. The family had requested that in lieu of flowers, donations will be appreciated. They can be sent to Linda Anderson, P.O. Box 117, Garden City, UT 84028 or deposited at any Zions Bank Branch in care of Linda Anderson.
